The Hawks Online Wargaming Community
rbirtles - 9/15/2005 2:12:15 AM

Hi there, my name is Rob Birtles and I have recently been having a good look at your as I am also a keen player and participant in Napoleonic wargaming but in a different way. I am part of the Hawks Historical Online Gaming Community (http://mastersofthefield.com) where we specialise in historical internet battles based around the Napoleonic era. We are a friendly lot not prone to any form of flaming and we regularly meet for online battles - whether your are a skilled tactician or a budding learner.

If you are interested in this type of gaming please have a look at our site.

We are are dedicated to re-creating and fighting on-line historical battles and we have researched and created a vast collection of historical battles from many different periods. All our battle maps are free to download from our site and can be found in the various game sections. These games are fought in real time, meaning that the men all move independently; advancing, firing, yelling, even falling as casualties, as if it were a real battle. The visual presentation is astounding and our battles play like epic movies.

If you have any queries concerning our gaming group please do not hesitate to contact me as I would be most happy to discuss our group with you.

Cheers and have a good day!

Rob Birtles
