Generals Sands, Meyer and Hampel were all riding a mule together, making a strategic move to the rear when the mule fell into a gulley...landing on top of all 3 and killing them. Since the quota for Yankees had already been met, Saint Peter gave them a chance to go back to earth as anything they wan...

At one time his birthday was a State Holiday in most Southern States
