Really like the LOS ideas---the other main issue I have with the games attempts to mimic history is I remember few battles where losses were over 50%, it seems common in these....I suppose one can comfort oneself a bit by thinking that these loses are really not killed, rather confused, disorders, l... |

Maj Chuck Berdanier, Glad to here that the Confederate Army has better leadership, and the Union leadership "is of variable quality".......[:D] Don't know if my record shows this (but others might), but......oh... you where likely speaking of the leaders in the game...[:D]My mistake....[:)] Best of ... |

LtCol T. J. Doran
Would, you like to go 2 out of 3 for whomever gets the worst of it in our third day of Gettysburg? Understand also if you wish to find another opponent to see different style of play.

Commanders, If you have someone fall through, I might be interested (I assume you are playing Campaign Pen--I have not installed it so unsure, but have the game), unfortunately I have little experience in the HPS system (have yet to complete one game in the system yet), so I could only play like a f... |

Sirs, Seems fine to me, don't tell me them yankees are prejuidice--that would be a coup for our reb propaganda. One Reb, Fld. Lt. taking a position where no Yankee Generals volunter--you suppose them is fair trading--wonder ifin we will get anything out of the deal. Perhaps, Fld. Lt. Brad Slepetz yo... |

Gamesystemwise I wonder how quickly orders/reaction of commanders were able to react to changing battlefield. I wonder if 10 minute turns in some cases might be accurate for the regimental level but not for the division on up level--but I am really unsure of how long it took for commanders to reciev... |

Remember playing Terrible Swift Sword and Longest Day--as the biggest formal maps (discounting naval games or games where you made your own maps). Are ther any bigger games/maps?

While I understand the thoughts--I feel if you play the edge of the board and are caught that is what happens. Because of the end of the world effect, you gain the benefit of not having to protect your rear, and having a supply source that can not be cut--this cannot really be changed easily. Hence ... |

Sir; I would be happy to engage your forces on any number of the longer battles. I still await my first defeat at Shiloh (I am currently involved in a game of this, so you might not be the first depending on how things turn out), and always enjoy BGG 13a (for which I have had plenty of losses). Othe... |
