Hello General, Yes I did, sorry I haven't checked this site in a few days. My attempts to hold Jackson against Grant and Sherman seems to be faltering. I hope for a yankee mistake. And thanks for the game offer. If you still want to play, just send a file of your choice. richardw@multipro.com Lt. Wa...

That's not exactly true. First, the HPS series is very different from the BG engine and it will remain that way (plus it is being updated regularly). Secondly, If you have all the latest BG upgrades and patches, then don't expect anything extra from this new Matrix release. Fld Lt. Rich Walker AotM ...

Hi, Sorry, I tried to get some special ship rules. I'll keep trying. But I did get their lost arty to count for VP points and some new 3D icons. I guess, since these games are intended to represent land warfare, programming "real" naval warfare stuff would take too much programming time. And in trut...

The article is located at http://www.strategyzoneonline.com/ I later wrote this reply: <i>I enjoyed Mike's comments and I would like to mention that his point about the river crossing was very valid and John Tiller (game programmer/developer) has corrected it to reflect the original intention. The c...

I don't have any of the BG games installed at the moment, so when you get your HPS games, let me know and we can cross sabers. I'll be 42 in December and I was also heavy into HMGS. I have many 15mm ACW guys and 25MM Ancients. Alas, it's been almost two years since I did any painting or playing. I liked the miniature feel to the BG series and that's why I started playing BG games in 1996. Strange, but now I only play in 2D....

I don't really want to clutter this thread with a lot of comments, but first I want to say thanks. Secondly, I think you'll all be pleased with what is under development at this very moment. Also, would any energic soul like to tally these votes in a simple format? The reason why only three is asked...

I and, I think the other designers, playtest all our games using the Single phase system.

Do you think the scenario balance is different depending on which you use?

Rich

P.S. I personally haven't played a multi-phase game since I stoped playing BG games.

Some engine upgrades are currently in the works. How would you prioritize them? List NO MORE THAN THREE!!! Possible answers (but not limited to these) PLEASE DON'T OFFER COMPLEX ANSWERS, JUST LIST THEM SIMILAR TO THESE OFFERED (but you can suggest others) These are not in any particular order. Arty ...
