Everyone to their own opinion, but the best Blues guitarist is Buddy Guy. But the analogy to clouds in the sky is perfect. All top musicians have their own style. Somewhat like comparing Lee and Grant as generals...

Absolutely, the weapons data should be standardized. I also agree with Lt. General Ringbloom that there might be some variation in 1864 -- prior if historical data can be injected -- and after for increased experience (and also improved weaponry). Weapons effectiveness should have been established i...

General Hebert,

No, it does not bother us Yankee types at all. I am sure you can always find a few stones to throw our way, however.

Given that the capacity of supply wagons is the same whether using Phase or Turn-based, it seems a fundamental flaw. Turn-based play will produce a greater frequency of fire, which is the sole criterion for ammo change for a unit. It seems as though the ammo capacity of supply wagons should be about...

This is a very interesting post and I am enjoying the replies. #1 and #2 are the ones to draw the obvious response, and all the others are sub-sets of the same equation. The only problem with #1 and #2 is that they are both ifs, ands, buts and maybes. Pure speculation. I would like to address the op...

I add my kudos to all listed. Having developed some graphics for 2D terrain features a few years ago, I can appreciate the time and effort needed.

Need 4 Rebels to engage in a multiplayer version of Down the Pike (Campaign Gettysburg). This is a scenario which I have adapted to :30 day turns; 1:00 night turns. One player will act as Lee, the others will divide duties as they see fit. This is a large battlefield and the Victory Conditions give ...

An oxymoron, I understand. Easier to find a needle in a haystack, I understand. However, I persist. I have developed a GB scenario patterned loosely on Down the Pike #252. Seeking an MP game. We have the Yanks. Might work best if a Reb division challenges as a group. Please respond to me directly rf...

Ken,
I add my accolades for what you have done for the Union effort, and the Club as well. More time to devote to MP games, I hope.

Gentlemen, I made a number of changes to 2D roads, pikes, railroads, etc. a few years back. They are stored at Brett Schulte's website. If you can't locate them, please send me an email and I will forward. Not saying they are better, just somewhat different. You can choose what you prefer. I play on...
