The Battle of Mill Springs is over. Turn 1: The Confederates have two infantry brigades, five cavalry units and six guns. Some extra units are fixed in the south and can't take part in an offensive movement. Heavy rain is falling and the visibility is limited to four hexes for this scenario. My plan... |

CS Capt. D.H. Smith will fight against US Lt. Alexander Giles at Fort Donelson (Day3). SHILOH is now open at the Opponent Finder Section (1st HACW- Registration topic). This scenario counts for 104 points in the HACW. This battle can be played on one of these three versions: BGS 04h. Battle of Shilo... |

Rich, I'm presently playing the Mill Springs historical scenario (CS 101) and I find it very interesting. Reduce movement (inf:10 mp, cav:20 mp and art:8 mp) and reduce visibility (4 hexes) are good way to simulate the effect of rain and muddy roads. I didn't know about the ammo penalty; is the prob... |

Battle of New Bern, NC. March 14, 1862. Turn 10: The Union troops, lead by MG Pete Keller, launched a massive assault on the southern fortifications defending New Bern. The Federals were delayed by the abatis and we received them with heavy fire. But they outnumbered us at least 3 to 1 and their num... |

I'm presently playing the ACWCGDC custom scenario of New Bern. There is no objective and no minor victory level !!! Is the casualty points are at 0, this is a draw; if the rebel have 1 point = major victory and if they have -1 point = major defeat. Very hard for the nerves and the Yankees are outnum... |

The big loser in cheating, is the cheater. He will never knows if he had the ability to really win the game by the rules. His false victory is worthless and HE knows it.

Fort Henry, February 6, 1862. 12:20 (turn5): McClernand's column was ambushed at the ford, lots of casualties for the Union. USN Flag Officer Foote's gunboats are pounding Fort Henry at close range, light casualties for the rebels. We saw federals soldiers on the other side of the Tennessee River. T... |
