Pat,
Yes, sorry I missed you too. Maybe if we have a TillerCon III you can head east again. Enjoyed seeing your picture along with Rusty and General Hulinsky.

Rusty, No problem - I could tell you weren't feeling too well. The walk was a real treat, but I wasn't disappointed to find a few gates to pass through after my first encounter with climbing the fence. I hadn't been on that part of the battlefield other than driving on the roads that pass up and ove... |

Rebels, 29 reads of my challenge and no takers? I know it's not me scaring you off - you must be frightened of my co-Generals - Ed Blackburn, Chris Hopper, and Ken Miller. Would another HPS title be more to your liking? We could do Corinth or Chancellorsville if Peninsula or Antietam are not accepta... |

Rusty, Go to this website - http://www.nps.gov/gett/planyourvisit/upload/2009%20Anniversary%20Battle%20Walk%20Schedule-2.pdf It gives all the battlefield walks for the three days. If you can't make the 10am walk, there are two others at 2:30 and 6pm. There are also three walks on July 3rd and one on... |

Rusty, Wonderful. Looking forward to meeting Pat and you. Are you planning on going on any of the anniversary walks? There's a good one on Thursday morning that follows the attack of Hood's Division. My cell phone # is 610-574-7090. Please let me have yours or alternatively let me know where you mig... |

Gentlemen of Both Armies, My wife and I are headed to Gettysburg next week to honor the 146th anniversary of those sacred days, and to participate in as many of the anniversary battlefield walks that my legs will allow. Are any other members of the Club planning to be there? We're staying at Larsons... |

Rebels, The 1st Division of the VI Corps of the Army of the Shenandoah challenge any Rebel division to a game of Peninsula or Antietam - pick your poison. We're game for any scenario, or we can throw them in a hat and pick one at random. Contact me with your answer - GDenney@aol.com. MG George Denne... |

Rich H and Rich W, I would be willing to help with Tiller Con III. I live near Philadelphia so I'm not real close to Nashville, but I'm retired and could devote quite a bit of time to it. Rich H, I think we'd still need your help on setting up the computers, but maybe that's all we'd have to ask you... |

I think the HPS games are great and will buy every one until something better comes along. I thought the Battleground Civil War games were great too, but HPS beats them in many ways - bigger (huge) maps, greater range of casualties and morale, number of scenarios and variations, etc. I would say I p... |

I used 3D almost exclusively in the Battleground series of ACW, but don't care for the 3D mode in the HPS games - I use 2D almost exclusively. Only exception is the reason mentioned several times previously - to see where the creeks and streams are in woods. MG George Denney 1st Division, VI Corps A... |

US Navy from 1964 to 1968. Stationed aboard the USS Willard Keith (DD775) at Norfolk and the USS Barton (DD772) at Philadelphia. Four of the best years of my life, other than the 42 I've spent with my wife Rosanna and the 21-33 with four daughters. MG George Denney 1st Division, VI Corps Army of the... |
