This is what happens when you go to slurping all the empty beer mugs in the tavern.
You either forget what you were going to say, like me, or repeat yourself! |

I had thought that we'd given these people enough of a drubbing their first time around to have forced their retirement permanently. But I see that they insist upon supporting their Cause no matter the sacrifice. Or maybe its the memory of Cam's liquor stocks that has them so worked up. |

For many years after the war it was believed that the Confederates blew their chance for a complete rout of Sheridan's army at Cedar Creek when the famished, poorly equipped and unruly rebel soldiers stopped to rummage through the Union camps which had just been overrun. Jubal Early's official repor... |

Always sad to see veteran officers retire from the colors, no matter their club allegiance. Yet the fact that they served for so long and provided the camaraderie, leadership and determination to make the club stronger and better will always be remembered. Good luck to you, Dale, in all of your futu... |

Here's a decent study paper on Civil War muskets vs rifles for download as a pdf. (Sorry for the long winded link, but our forum won't accept straight pdf uploads.) https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=11&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjd-fv-kY_gAhW... |

In some of the games emplaced guns are neither permitted to move nor change facing. I understand the former, but not the latter. Ought not an emplaced gun be able to swivel at least one hexside, right or left of its center facing? Or is this something not possible within the engine mechanics? |

In his book, To the Gates Of Richmond , Steven Sears writes that at the Battle of Savage Station the 5th Vermont suffered particularly heavy casualties, nearly half of its men, after Smith's Vermont Brigade (commanded by William T. H. Brooks) charged the Confederate line in the woods south of the Wi... |

Not to worry, Scott! It might take me three or four years to reply to a posting, but yes I've a copy of Naisawald's excellent book. I picked it up some time back as a member of the History Book Club. I'll have to pull it down for a re-read, but I recall it to be most informative. |

"DE DUBYA's BACK!" Anytime a former member returns to the active ranks is cause for celebration, but for one so accomplished and well-respected it is a definite plus. Welcome back General (former Club President) Mallory! I suppose this means that the war will now continue for at least ano... |

I understand that the three of you were asking around if the meals at the Fort Douglas Prisoner of War Camp were still as good as you remember them. The answer is, "Yes, of course!" But to insure your place in line you ought to give me all of your swords now and save us all a lot of troubl... |

Just a reminder to everyone to check with your current opponents in these titles before you completely upgrade to these new versions. Of course you can always create the newer version as an addition to your older versions. |
