Thanks, Joe! Great read and really interesting topic with the Buck&Ball review to the .pdt files. I agree that a standard list of .pdt weapons should be established and that individual updates can be made for special scenarios/events but the changes should be noted in the description of the scen...

Gents, I looked over the Vicksburg Campaign and tried to find the battle/siege of Port Hudson. Wonder why that was left out too?

The siege was longer than Vicksburg and the Rebels had a great entrenched position ( 4 to 1) force ratio.

Would love to see that scenario created/added to the campaign.

Thanks, Mike! Great to see many of those old photos in color. Would love to see the Ken Burns Civil War video updated with the color photos. I think that would be amazing.

Cam, no worries. An old Rebel medic told me that there is a special "Pet Cemetery" just outside of Petersburg that should fix everything. If you hurry, you still have time to get him in the ground before Sunday and all will be good again. ;o) Remember, once he's back up-&-kicking again...

Col. Peters, <salute> Good Luck, Bill!  It was great seeing you around the tavern again.  I know doing game/scenario designs can take a lot of time/focus and totally understand. Don't be a stranger.  Feel free to come back and gives the Rebs a hard time any time you want. ;) Remember, this last roun...

Great to see and hear from you, Gen. Miller, sir.

I still enjoy your Dept. of Engineering site for game, map and scenario editing. GREAT stuff!

Cam, if you would like to watch another good show being aired, watch the series where the Houston Dailey reported his troops saw UFOs when we had sent up a couple of observation balloons near the battlefield. Our Engineers thought it was an earthquake or stamped as his Rebs ran from the field. There...

Ahh, Gen. McOmish, you must be reading one of Col. Mills subordinates battle reports. It's been said that his Texan boys turn&run at the terrifying "Blue" glow they've seen on the battle field. Us Yanks refer to his boys as Texan White Tails for their quick retreat and surrender they d...

Battle of Bentonville - One of the final battles from General Sherman's drive into the deep South. This looks to be the last major engagement for Sherman and Johnston before wars end. Should this be part of the Campaign Atlanta? Here is the battle details: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Ben...

Gen. Kunz, Thanks for the warning. I'll send a couple Cavalry detachments out that way and inform them to be on high alert for anyone who replies with "While yes Suh". A dead giveaway for a CSA officer. ;). I wouldn't want you getting through and trying to build diplomatic relations with C...

Union officers! I would like to report back that I took an espenage horse ride down to North Carolina (near Raleigh) to see how our War of Attrion was working. I have to report that the CSA has developed a new weapon called "Liquid Gold!". I went to several craft beer taverns and tried som...
