For the later try using the "Alternate Fixed Unit Release" optional rule, it works this way:
"Select Alternate Fixed Unit Release to have Fixed units become released
whenever an enemy unit comes within 5 hexes of them regardless of the line-
of-sight to that enemy unit."

Looks messy, could you please take a screenshot of the optional rules?

Doesn't seem to be all, 24lbr Smoothbore & Rifled are an example but then 32lbr Smooth & Rifled looks normal again, maybe other things were considered especially with the siege setting that Petersburg provides.

Good day gentleman, want to do the last battles of Campaign Ozark before taking a break, so is there a skillful Confederate who wants to take Maj. Gen. Earl Van Dorn's place in his attempt to drive Brig. Gen. Curtis out of Arkansas? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ad/Battle_of_Pea_R...

I guess checking the campaign out with the campaign editor is a way to do.

Regarding recovery from rout, from the manual: These Modifiers are applied to this value to result in the final Morale value. • If the unit is stacked with a Leader of the same organization or a higher organization as the unit and if the Leadership rating of the Leader is higher than the Morale valu...

Yea that is sometimes hard, as current workaround it may help if you turn off the units & hex outlines, in the top bar there is the function "Toggle Units" and under the "Settings" menu you find "Hex Outlines" for this. Only other way would be to modify the graphic ...

Likely typos, don't see any 152nd NY at all in Gettysburg, and in the range of 150-160 there should only be 150th, 154th and 157th at all but none under Hancock.
Maybe a typo with the 52nd and 125th NY.

That the board is unavailable did already start in early January.
As I posted here:

at one point we did had a roll back.

Christian - I could see how a defensive fire filter might work with a 'no fire', 'whites of their eyes' (fire only at effective range), or 'always fire'. Yes some rough settings could already be a big improvement. One would have to see if they would be enough or if improvements are still needed. I'...

The games WinSPWW2 & WinSPMBT give a good example how filters can work and how extensive they can be, for example you can set a range and min & max armor values, that makes sure that an anti-tank team let a jeep or other unarmored vehicles pass but fires if a tank comes into range that has a...

Have a long list indeed but my number one would be to finally make the phased gameplay standard by adding "filters" so the defensive fire can be set the way the players want it. Currently most won't play that way because it takes too much time but if the defensive fire can be "program...

Looking forward too.
I would recommend to turn the hexes off for doing screenshots, it gives a better impression of the terrain features & height differences, especially in the more zoomed out map view.
