I must recon a scenario as I lose so much I don't DARE give my opponents any more help than they already have by playing ME! <BIG GRIN> That said - I love the campaign scenarios the best. Neither side knows what is going to happen. That is my fav. mode of play. However, for a non-campaign battle I d...

Adding in my part to the "club member mosaic" ..... Grew up in the Los Angeles area. Went from playing Risk and the old American Heritage board games to AH Luftwaffe, joined a local wargame club at Cal State Northridge (CSUN) in 1975. Played miniatures (Johnny Reb at one point) and just re...

Thanks for doing this, Rich! Really helps. Like any "old hand" I am resistant to change and some of the icons on the toolbar are hard to relate to the game function. However, there are so many great things about the new game programming that its easy to pass on this part and key in on the ...

Seems I was a Brig. Gen. long ago but when HQ found that out they panicked and took it away. Oh wait, when I found out I had made that rank I ran away! ROFL Once I clear some of my schedule I may sign up for a command in the Union army. I understand they are looking for a commander for the Union arm...

A little Feedback: I am a huge fan of the new Visible Hex view as well. Make the change at Settings / Hex Highlights / Hex Outline and then go to Visible hexes, neat! There were times in the past that I could hardly see a visible hex with a stack of units on it. Now there is no doubt what hexes are...

Its amazing the BBs that they were able to get back into action. I got to see the Arizona Memorial in July of 2004 on a work trip to Oahu. If you have never been there its something you will want to do in your lifetime. I would have liked to have gone on the Mighty Mo but we didn't have time. Now th...

Ozark is an old fav. of mine. Pea Ridge, Wilson's Creek and many other smaller actions make for a nice relief from the huge battles of the other games.

Sterling Price, Pike and many other leaders which you never see in the other games make this one a unique experience in the series play.

Artillery seems to be the most obvious. It should stay unlimbered until there is a threat it will get attacked when alone. There should be a stacking logic that says if it has over 500 infantry or cavalry in the hex it wonder limber up and run away. Kennon pointed out the obvious about the leaders. ...

Hey guys - hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving Day! :) I own two monitors but would like to eventually move over to using just one wide angle monitor. Before I do that I would like to know if anyone in the club is using a wide angle monitor, do you use the "Split Screen" option if its ava...

Question, how to you like the new toolbar? And that too can be toggled to show the classic toolbar.[/quote] I dont mind the new toolbar but I would like to see where we can customize it. Napoleonic series has "Normal, Snow and Frozen" conditions - there is a Snow folder in the Map folder for the additional graphics. I would love for BOTH series to get a "MUD" condition. The Murfreesboro battle in BGG Chickamauga was done in mud colors if I remember correctly. Aut...

Hoping that in the works is a "Campaign Shenandoah" game that covers all of the campaigns of the war in one title. The battles are small but interesting enough to have their own game. Cross Keys and Port Republic Kernstown Winchester (several battles there) Cedar Creek - Sheridan showing u...
