Why there is a change in the Victory Points, I do not know although I'm sure that many far more knowledgeable about the game will have the answer for you. I think the ACWGC rule quoted below should prevent, as you say, "the side with the larger force should generally not be guaranteed a victor... |

I was on Reddit looking for some info on another John Tiller series (Panzer Campaigns) when I came across a post stating that a unit could exit on ANY Exit VP Location and secure VP's. This applies to Exit VL's marked for the other side. Maybe this is common knowledge, but I had not come across this... |

I have BAB, but have only played the tutorial. From what little I've played, I liked it at least as well as JTS. Shame that it didn't catch on. For $9, I think it's well worth trying out. |

"The cabinet has unanimously accepted these rule changes." Does that mean that the Cabinet has simply OK'd this proposal for a vote, or that the Cabinet members have unanimously voted "yes" for it? The Cabinet has ok'd the proposal for an open discussion & vote by the Club. ... |

General Dortch, sir. <salute> koo As a very novice player of the JTS series, I think my choices would be: Command control Using cavalry effectively Basic strategy (offensive vs defensive, the benefit of reserves, ect.) I think most of the gentlemen playing have played either the ACW series or anoth... |

I, too, used the sale to round out my ACW collection, plus completing Modern Campaigns and adding to Panzer Campaigns. I think I need 6 more titles to finish this series. Napoleonic hasn't captured my interest... yet. |

What exactly were you trying to do? I was attempting to break out and reply to several sentences in a reply from Ken in this post http://wargame.ch/board/acwgc/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=21341 You have the same access as all others in the club. Checking your account shows nothing unusual, that I can ... |

FYI... this is the post I was referring to in my BBCode ? in the MD Tavern [quote="krmiller_usa"]Haven't looked at Scheldt yet and don't have Japan'46. In the other games you can get an enemy unit in a bunker isolated and D'd. Leave a retreat path and assault and they retreat out of the bu... |

Not sure what's up with BBCode on my account. It is showing ON for this post, but when I attempt to reply to a post in another forum, it shows up as OFF. I've been to the Control Panel and made sure that the default is ON (which it is). I've tried resetting preferences to OFF, closing the browser, r... |

Thanks I may have to look at Scheldt. I know a little about the post-Market-Garden fighting in the estuary, but not a lot. It's usually been wargaming which has gotten me interested in wars and battles of which I've read little about. I've played through the US campaign of N'44. I think that's when ... |

Ernie, Have you played much of this title yet? I purchesd this not long after it came out, but have not yet played it, not even against the AI. It just seems such a slog. I own over half of the PzC titles, but have such a hard time getting psyched for the "slower" games like N '44 or Kursk... |
