...Will let you know how it goes. :)... Please do, Derek; although I tend to enjoy tactical/operational games far more than the strategic, this one has captured my interest. ... Would agree with Christian....multiplayer is VERY important!!! Amen to that! I rarely played multiplayer before joining t... |

Releases today in Early Access. Looks way too buggy to consider purchasing right now, even if reports regarding my "deep pockets" were true. And, the EA price of $39.95 is only 10% off the planned cost of the "finished" product. Too far to go with too little reward, imo, at this ... |

Although very new to this, I can't stand Extreme Fog Of War. I understand that it adds the ultra fine shroud of realism to the game, a necessity for the "realist" players...but I just dont like it. And I, on the other hand, will not play another game without it. It is totally unrealistic ... |

I stay busy building new bridges. After spending 22 years in surveying, designing subdivisions and the like, I rolled into highway construction inspection. From my background, the bosses decided I should primarily work with the bridges. Over the past 21 years, I've had a hand in the engineering and ... |

I was returning from a trip this afternoon, passing through The Wilderness battlefield. I had a few minutes and stopped at the Exhibit Shelter. General Kunz has suggested that club members might be interested in photos from the plentiful battlefields near my home in Fredericksburg. Photography is an... |

Sirs! <salute> A hearty "Thanks" for the most cordial welcome to the Tavern. I've come to report that the word on the street is indeed correct; my attire is replete with "long pockets". Unfortunately, long pockets do not mean full pockets. Dalliances with the fairer sex have left... |

I didn't buy them all, but I got enough to qualify for the bulk discount... 7 games for under $25 a pop.
Now I can get my tail kicked from Keystone to Show Me |

Playing the Confederate side in this Lt.'s Cup match, and also being new to the game, when I looked at the objective points for Kernstown, I decided that 6 points was not worth my time. I thought this meant that it was only worth 6 points to the CSA for the entire game and chose to ignore it. I coul... |

Great to see some AAR's on this series. Note that Cedar Mt. is actually the mountain near the lower edge of the map. The ridge you are fighting for is in reality nothing more than a very slight change of slope coming from the west toward the east. Not sure why the map designers made it so prominent... |

There are few false expectations, but certainly many bad habits that have already been exposed. I expect to be schooled quite often early on. |

Greetings, Being both new to the board and (relatively) new to the game, I suspect my thoughts won't carry much weight. But, during my initial play of a "Getting Started" scenario, I wondered why something of this nature was not already a part of the game. My long-time favorite WW II game ... |
