While I am glad to hear that matrix is going to come out with an updated set of the old BG games for them wot is so excited and wants them, I personally am not going to be springing for them. I am still using XP and HAD hoped and planned that even when I have to buy a new machine and go to VISTA, th...

Get well soon you old moose terrorizer! [:D] He must miss you something terrible. Maybe you might like to forward that "alternate get well card of the boss's down below" to the moose to carry him over in the meantime...just in case he is suffering withdrawal symptoms from you being out of action. Wi...

All of a sudden Gary seems to have dropped out of sight. Not worried about the game, but worried about him. He has always been extremely prompt to return plays daily and sometimes more than once a day. I don't know if he is on holiday, ill, down computer or what. Wondering if one of you CSA chaps kn...

I am aware that Patrick was ill and out of the hospital hopefully recovering but it has been over a month now and I am worried about him. He apparently can't write emails or so it seems. If anyone, his CO, or some friend knows how he is I would be grateful to learn of it and how contact him. Thanks,...

My two cents...err make that twenty cents...[:D]You get half the normal points for spiking a gun as long as you garrison them with a combat unit, a leader and even a wagon. The occupying combat unit can be disrupted or not, cav or infantry in any formation, and even another artillery piece. If you l...

I just completed a campaign of four battles at Vicksburg with a major victory and it appears to me that if the Reb doesn't do well in the first three, he always ends up in that situation where "he" (the computer) has destroyed most of his guns and his choice is to simply breakout. The problem is tha...

With regard to Lt.Col. McOmish and the deep woods obscuring the color. I have found that if you turn OFF the "visible hexes" function temporarily, the contrast is greater and it is easier to see which are Light Blue and which are Dark Blue. With the visible hex feature on, in some places both types ...

Sorry to hear about the back problem Larry. Sounds complicated, frustrating, and inconvenient....hope it won't continue to plague you and is "curable" so to speak. Looks like Lt.Col. Mullen was in Sick Bay for appendicitus...sorry I alarmed anyone. He just returned from the hospital last night and didn't say much but appended a [:(] sad sticker so I imagine he is still recovering. I am sure we all wish him a speedy and uncomplicated recovery...and thanks Ernie...

Thanks Ernie...I just heard from him too...appendicitus!!! Thanks so much. Sorry I bothered everyone....it is just that we make these "cyber" acquaintenances and even though we rarely meet it seems as if we have been friends for years...I was worried about him as it was so unlike him to not be in co...

Have been playing a Corinth campaign with Lt.Col Patrick Mullen of the AoM and haven't heard from him in more than a week. That is very much unlike him as he would sometimes return two or three plays a day. Have written several messages but no response. I am hoping that it is a down computer and not...
