As I understand it Version 2.00 will release the OOB's but there has been no word on the maps. I have not had time to check this out but if the maps are still locked you will only be able to use the ones that came with that particular game.

Gentlemen, I have on my HPS Corinth webpage some modified OOB's for Tony Malone's 1862 scenarios on Jacksopn's Valley campaign. They consist of Kernstown, McDowell,Cross Keys, Winchester and Port Republic. I was recently asked if I had copies of the map and scenario files and to my chagrin I discove...

For you newer members who are not aware of it the ACWGC has a website that provides a wealth of information on the HPS game system files. Specifically how the pdt and oob files are set up and how the pdt can be modified as well as a primer to get you started with the Scenario Editor. You can browse ...

This may help The confederate standard and union standard are identical except for who is the FIRST PLAYER and they apparently were to be used for all June battles. This does not determine who moves first as you can specify that in the Scenario File, setting the player who moves first and the turn a...

I'm with Ned on this one, played the campaign game scenario having gotten a victory in the opening battle at Boonville then got my head handed to me at Carthage. Of course I played it blind not knowing the situation and probably waited too long to start falling back but it just seems to be one of th...

See http://www.acwgc-usa.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=725 Just remember the image has to be stored somewhere on the web, if you don't have a website of your own contact whoever handles the websit...

The little redheaded girl has decided we're overdue for a little us time so we're off for a weekend getaway, no kids, kats, dogs or grandkids and no computers or internet. I will be out of contact from Friday morning until late Sunday night. To my opponents, I probably won't get any turns out until ...

I would recommend Charlie Fennell's tour on Culp's Hill. I've done several with him over the years at the FNPG Musters.

Glad people are using the Engineering pages. Apparently you missed the comment about the Flags Value. 0 Flags Name No flags defined, value should be 0. The last I heard the Weather Flag has no affect, I'm guessing it was put in just in case additional changes came up but no code has been put in to u...

Ernie, Ned Sims sent me an updated scn file from 2000, the one that loads with ver 1.34 is from 1997. Apparently there is a problem in the reinforcement schedule, a couple of duplicate units on the union side, that cause the error. An update that Rich Hamilton put out apparently that I forgot about,...

Wanted to see if anyone else has come across this. Apparently there are not too many yanks willing to play the old BG games and I got involved in a RBCT game, BGG 04H Decisions, Decisions rather than see the union forfeit. In any case I installed Talonsoft BGG, the 1.34 update and the 32 bit update....

Gen. Dancer, The current crop of HPS/Tiller WWII games include the Panzer Campaigns series, these are battalion/company level games on the order of the old SPI 'Monster Games' Wacht am Rhein/Atlantic Wall but with individual losses of men/guns/afvs rather than the step losses used in the SPI games. ...

Gentlemen <salute> The Confederacy appears to alive and well, it is the Union short on officers willing to participate in the Red Badge of Courage Tournament. I believe there are currently three fine officers of the CSA awaiting opponents which I'd prefer we win on the field of battle, not by forfe...
