I just finished the novel "The Black Flower" by Howard Bahr published in 1960. The action is centered around the Battle of Franklin, TN in November 1864. Its a very good "inside your head" account of men facing battle. I won't give away the plot but there is a some romance mixed ...

Has anyone noticed that with the new OOB, the wagons look like infantry and the artillery too? :| This applies to multiple scenarios across campaigns.

Anyone willing to try the Cavalry Campaign in Overland? Its just a sequential set of historical scenarios that occurred throughout the campaign. I bought an iMac a few months back. I partitioned the disc and installed windows 7. I have the Peninsula game up and running with no issues. Not the same look as feel as XP but it will do.

I am still willing to play the scenario as designed in the 1864 Overland Campaign -- not the linear campaign -- as the Rebels to illustrate that the scenario is fairly balanced -- it uses fixed units and releases them during day 1.

But you don't have to employ those tactics....there are alternatives to the Linear Campaign. Try the 1864 Overland Campaign where the units have fixed release times -- mimicking the delay in the Union Army's reaction to Lee's aggressive advance.
