Well what is true and what not? General Whitehead seems correct with his statement: But in the cases mentioned he was probably right and it is a good generals responsibility to identify why a failure occurred and hopefully taking steps to fix it. Lee tented to accept responsibility almost to a fault... |

So the "Campaign Open Dialog" shows no campaign? Then search the game folder for the .cpd files and see where they are, AFAIK for the none 3.0 Patched games these must be in the folder where you installed the game together with the .scn files. If not, try shifting them there. |

How can anyone expect it to follow a historical path? Because it supposed to be a historical scenario, and to meet that it can't just depict the setup as historical but has to keep the overall course within historical plausibility. Nobody wants a scenario that forces a perfect replay of what histor... |

Wonder how the Confederates achieved that. Anyhow, wanting a competitive scenario is usually the request for a What-If version, in warfare no commander wants a competitive battle, he wants to have the advantage on his side and most often that is achieved. As the campaign is supposed to mirror the hi... |

From the article: "In 1998, at the 135th anniversary of Gettysburg, there were an estimated 30,000 re-enactors and 50,000 spectators." Impressive numbers. The decline is a pity but that is unfortunately the way it went for many hobbies, capitalism has won and the pressure anyone has to fac... |

The Confederates are slow to pick fights, maybe you should give them more time or at least leave this open for a Confederate to get his moonshine done and come out to fight. Regarding the JTS updates, you can get them all if providing the JTS Support with some prove that you have the physical HPS ve... |

It's not about taking the Confederates something away. Currently the scenario seems to go ahistorical right away as there is no need for the Confederates to defend any forward positions. But falling back also doesn't work as you point out that the Richmond defenses are too long. There is a reason th... |

Impressive task, congratulations to all participants. I hope something can be pulled out to improve this monster scenario, especially with the new victory conditions that are added with the latest patches and that surely will get to Overland too. These might solve the problem of the Rebels retreatin... |

1) Does it matter at all if the unit takes just one casualty or one hundred? Is it still the same morale check? It does matter, there is a formula after which the game acts that results in this curve: http://i.imgur.com/jbsq2q1.jpg The spot for a 50:50 chance to trigger a moral check is at 25 casua... |

Well Sherman's March only provides us with one big battle, the Battle of Bentonville, and that is not much for a standalone title. So it could be a worthy idea to add more of the Southern department, if the actions throughout the war along the east coast(Georgia, Carolina's, maybe even Florida's Bat... |

In general the more details you give the better. So not only the game that the scenario is in but also what optionals rules are wanted or if any house rules are to be used should be mentioned. As currently the very old games have scenario that do not use the weather feature it should also be mention... |
