While reading A Yankee Private's Civil War , the memoirs of Robert Hale Strong and edited by Ashley Halsey (1961, Henry Regency Company, Chicago) I ran across the following passage concerning Spencer rifles. "The 102nd Illinois, armed with Spencer rifles, the famous seven-shooters, were deploye... |

I'm well aware of the upgrading procedure. The question was/is, if anything, what can an upgraded player do to play someone who's not upgraded, if he hasn't kept his old versions separate? I would assume that if the upgraded player still has his original disc he can make a separately labeled re-inst... |

There are three versions of the Battle of Champion Hill with both a hugely expanded map and additional CSA forces, which need some comment. An otherwise capable CSA commander has only to fall back from the namesake hill and construct a very potent defense along Baker Creek, which effectively slices ... |

Having concluded a Minor Victory in the Peach Tree Creek battle, the last set piece before the 107-turn Atlanta scenario in the campaign mode, I find that the same ground is completely open to a re-fight in that succeeding scenario. The Union army is restricted to arrivals throughout the first day w... |
