A Yankee's been there and left his mark! (me). First known act of graffiti on a wall. (of course, it's just whitewash. Spray paint won't be invented for another hundred years). [:o)] Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr.com/odotffl/images/14corps.gif |

In the Windows startup menu folder there is a shortcut to "Users Manual". You then click on "Main Features" and select "Combat Results" to find this section. You can also access the user manual in the game by pressing the F1 key and selecting "Civil War Battles". Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC... |

On the courier issue, in our Penninsula multiplayer game, the Generals do seem to have mounted staff units assigned to them. It would be easy to use them as messengers. I don't think they are used much in other series though, but I haven't really looked either. Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC h... |

I'd REALLY like to see an end to leaders drawing defensive fire for movement OR changing mounted to unmounted status...

Considering a fair number of club members dislike artillery in sections, taking it to specific ammo types would really send them over the edge. I personally like artillery in section, but I see more detail in ammo types as unnecessary at the game's scale. One thing I'd like to see is a way to set st... |

I need some clarification from the updated documentation on spiking guns: <i>"The unit doing the spiking cannot be an unscrewed artillery unit."</i> Just when is the artillery unit screwed? When they're facing down 800+ charging Rebs? [:D] Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr... |

For games that don't work in Vista, an interesting alternative would be to use MS Virtual Machine 2007: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=04d26402-3199-48a3-afa2-2dc0b40a73b6&displaylang=en&tm#filelist It looks like a more convenient alternative to dual boot for games,... |

I've got a free Vista upgrade coming in awhile, but I think at best I'll dual-boot until I'm sure everthing's going to work adequately. Of course, that's not an option for new systems with pre-loaded Vista... Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr.com/odotffl/images/14corps.gif |

Took yesterday off in anticipation of the storm, and today they told us to stay home due to level 3 emergency status. I work in Columbus Ohio, but live in Delaware County.
