Relating to this, does anyone install all their games on a USB stick and do it that way? I've always used the "one CD" method to play all the games, but just thought of this as another possibility...

If they're routed and isolated, any single good-order combat unit can overrun them freely. You no longer have to keep them surrounded.

But since as everyone knows 1 Reb point can beat 10 yank points, I'd say you have about 9,000 Northern Aggression points to go before you can call it even... [:p]

Are you doing it via the bridge method? (Click the leader hex, then "Begin Melee," then your units, then "Add to Melee" and then resolve?) On the other hand, let's face it - shouldn't they be able to run away?? Especially the yanks... [:o)] Maj Gen Sean Turner 3rd Cavalry Division, "The Bishop's Men... |

I was thinking more along the lines of rearguards and fighting withdrawals - basically trying to make it easier to defend. Of course, the obvious answer is to play in phases. [8D]

Just thinking aloud - now that artillery can fire by prolongue, would it be easily possible to allow infantry units to fire and then back up a hex (even in non-clear terrain, possibly)? Would help fighting withdrawals a bit. Maj Gen Sean Turner 3rd Cavalry Division, "The Bishop's Men" I Corps Army o... |

Just to echo Rich and say zipped files have never arrived corrupted in my games, and unzipped ones that did were then sent zipped and arrived fine. That's the reason I zip them.

Haven't played this one through, so looking for a yank for a campaign. Would like no infantry column attacks (except across bridges, etc, where lines can't; OK vs defenseless units), no night attacks, and an embedded melee phase (so, no blitzing). Optional rules open to discussion. Maj Gen Sean Turn... |

Looking for a yank for a Shiloh campaign. Optional rules open to discussion. Prefer agreement to no infantry column attacks and no blitz tactics (I tend to use embedded melee - all melees at same time, after which can move and fire but no more melees).
