Not to say that and other things will never happen. But we have other commitments, limited time, and the need to prioritize. First things first. Then we get to the good stuff. |

No, not for Petersburg. Game play changes are minimal in Petersburg. |

The very first effect of the revived Extreme Fog of War: The Visibility highlight will only show from friendly occupied hexes. In other words, if you don't have a friendly unit occupying a hex, you can't toggle the Visibility highlight from that hex. This is a change from before, where you could det... |

Not sure what's on the list of "club sanctioned games". Anyway, I own: ⋅ JTS/HPS CWB, all titles (both desktop and tablet) ⋅ Matrix BGS, all ACW titles ⋅ AGEOD ACW I & II ⋅ Scourge of War, all ACW titles ⋅ BaB, volume one No FoF or Grig... |

Still tying up some loose ends, doing some final automated and manual testing, and revising the docs.
But it shouldn't be long now. Weeks, not months. <knock on wood> |

"Soon". Working on some 11th hour graphics updates, the manual, testing, etc. It's in the final stages. But we won't begin a countdown just yet. |

For this go-around, for Campaign Petersburg, not much in the way of core engine improvements. The focus is more on UI, graphics, and foundational enhancements. You can thank David Freer of WDS and the Old Banshee Team for the graphics advances. To Rich Walker, John Ferry & co. give credit for th... |

Imagine how amazingly good and realistic and immersive something like this will be in 10 or 20 years. How mind bogglingly good in 50 years and beyond. VR, anyone? Then just imagine how advanced the development tools will be, how much easier it will be to produce content like this, so it won't be the... |

I have a fundamental problem with SOW: I more want to sit back and enjoy the show than I want to play the game. And a complaint: In the 2D map, the eyeball, You Are Here marker is fixed pointing right (IIRC). To help orient myself, I want the eyeball to rotate, pointing in the direction of my field ... |

Do you mean reinforcements, as in units newly arriving on map? Or replacements, as in added men for existing on map units? |

Yes, that is what it says. But it speaks falsely. In fact, in the code, there was no Extreme Fog of War, certainly no Extreme FOW optional rule. The effect on reinforcements described was folded into standard Fog of War, but the reference to Extreme Fog of War was never excised from the docs. |

I have revived the Extreme Fog of War optional rule, and associated its very first effect. (There may eventually be other effects.) |

Rich Walker wrote: Yes, you can still have the non painted 3D, but you will have to remove the .bmp file from the Maps folder, as the program will auto load the .bmp if available. But you can simply put the .bmp is another folder until wanted. We are adding a toggled option for this, Settings > 3D Painted Map. |
