Got caught out in it last night(South of Erie Pa). Havent driven in this type of crap for a while(snow, then sleet then snow again). Have a daughter in Mississippi and I have been talking to her about accomidations!![:I]

A few years ago there was a series of Anchients from a company called I Magic. How does this compare? They were pretty good games with nice graphics and a half decent A.I.

Anchients would seem to be a good field of study for HPS as the simpler tactics make for an improved A.I. Anyone interested in the period should check out the web sites.[;)]

I know you have ruled out making Brigade Commanders being mandatory for melee but I would like to see more discussion on this novel idea. I had not thought of it before, but do our games over emphasise melee?

I agree with General Collins on Victory Games "Civil War". I learned a lot about the strategic war from this game. It really has the proper "feel' for the problems facing both sides. The North has command problems at the highest levels and it takes a while to get this solved. The South has excellant...
