Gents, looking back in the mirror - I joined in 1999 or so - I can surely see some big differences compared to then. Firstly , we have a totally new PC technological level, allowing for more "action games" and release of adrenalin, which is what most young people are looking for. In 1999, ... |

My major preference would be automated def fire, but otherwise I am open to most suggestions. You can set up and send the first turn to: varjag(at)hotmail.com , where (at... |

I would prefer Shiloh, but can do any of them. Have the Matrix Game version. US or CSA opponent, anyone is as good as the other! |

Sir,
as we seem to have run out of rebels, your offer is most encouraging! I have the Matrix Games version of BG and am open to anything. Suggestions? |

Hi my friend! Remember you very well! And not only you but even the first scenario we played when you were my teacher back in - was 1998 or 1999? We played "Longstreet's Other Boot", IIRC. I haven't Victory Games' edition but will for sure get it as it has been referred to by many as equal... |

Thanks Ernie, you must be one of the oldest hands around here...! Amazing - when looking back, I realize I first enrolled almost 20 years(!) ago, back in either 1999 or 1998 (-98 I think was the Napoleonic sister club). Amazing to see so many old lads still gaming! |

For simulations on PC, I'd say Silent Hunter 3, with the Grey Wolves Gold expansion (free ware). For board games: Steel Wolves, as well as The Hunters |
