At the risk of going off topic I don't have any issues with Vista UAC and I'm using Vista Business 64. Occasionally get a prompt "do you want to do that", but it's no problem to me. I install all my games in c:\Games\ to avoid problems described in the original post. I've had zero problems with game... |

I personally favor the system as is. It's still a game and I'd like to know if my strategy is winning or losing based on the points accumulated. Without knowing who controls the VP hexes, it's almost like a random result at the end. Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr.com/od... |

I don't know if this has been covered already, but I've noticed a lot of artillery battery crew kills by infantry lately in the HPS games. Specifically, I was playing W. Tisdale at Shiloh (1.05) and I must've killed ten crews. I've noticed it more frequently than in the past in some other games I'm ... |

I wonder if these guys have permission to use "Black Knights" for their football team. Or how many other high schools use that.

May be a problem if he installed the games in Program Files too. Programs there are protected and don't like to be moved and such. Best to install games in a user-made directory named Games or something. Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr.com/odotffl/images/14corps.gif |

Poor AI shots or not, I can't see how a single shot in the defensive fire phase is better than opportunity fire as Rich said. Plus, I don't want to give up changing formation during my move. Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr.com/odotffl/images/14corps.gif |

Just got Antietam a couple days ago. I can't wait to try the Optional Melee Resolution and Artillery Ammo by Gun. I think those will go a long way to helping the games play better. Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr.com/odotffl/images/14corps.gif |

Not sure I can help you. I was running an HPS campaign in Vista 32, and just upgraded my computer and I'm running the same campaign in Vista 64. I don't think your problem is caused by Vista. I am running the BG games in MS Virtual PC 2007 on XP Pro just fine. They won't work at all on Vista. HPS do... |
