Don Golen,
Congrats sir. Every thought how strange it is that we raise a toast for you going from a Major to a Lieutenant (General). Cheers to Lieutenant (General)Golen, might we not meet his on the field and only meet him in the tavern.

Glad to hear Gen. Grant is wasting his ammo in a "rolling thunder" before the battle. I would be happy to remove the energy from that steamroller--water doesn't scare us rebs--we are civilized. Might as well include all options and ADF, if you wish to face this reb.

Confederate Spies I suspect, attempting to secure a victory. That is a mighty strange problem. I play on the win98 platform, so I have little experience on the xp system. When you look into the program files do you find that the directories/files for pbem or anything like it even exist. Can you save... |

Personally, I do think people are a bit too worried about it all. Of course I am almost always in the minority on any number of things. I fear ruling something to death. If one breaks issolation, why should a flag immediately arrive? If one is looking too correct realism, would the units men know, o... |

As I see it the issolation rule is a devise to keep people more in kind with what actually happened. We all tend to be more careless since they are imaginary men. Allowing someone behind you was a no no. Not because it meant mass surrender, but because of the way tactic were. Clearly flanks and rear... |

Battle of Nashville looks to be looking for someone to foolishly lead the Rebs, to a most likely defeat. I think I would like be that likely to be defeated Reb.

Lt. Quick, I like the sound of that. Seems right for you to be fighting for the rebels--we have seen the fight in your eye and a rebelious nature that sometimes lets itself out. Rebel to the core as I see it. Given you bring enough rations and Greenbacks to the South,we might even let you into my un... |

If'n you find that there are no Yankee's up to the challenge, I can never resist BGG 13a--I will wait in the wings for a while. While I certainly prefer the Rebs (and might well beat you with them--if you prefered we could play 2 games--double mirror of sorts), I suppose I could be convinced to save... |

Congrats you Northern Scondrels.
Having crossed swords a few times with MG Golen, I wish you the best. While I am at it I will give Lt Gen Mike Kaulbars, a rebel yell. Best of luck to all. It is an honor to beat up and get beat up from you all.

What I think would be neat to see, but not very worth it for the market it would hit--would be a "War", were one places one's commanders on certain fronts, troops would travel with them, and input the areas one wishes to operate in, and the computer randomly selects the battles and the forces (using... |

Lt. I suppose we should ask if anything that might be compromising in any way can come out of this, but more to the point....How about a COOL LEMONADE. Sum folk put some of that special water in it to give it taste---that of course is all up to personal taste, as I have seen its sometimes ill effect... |

Lt. Biggs, Welcome also, and a fine salute to a fine new officer. Lt. Biggs, can you confirm for us southerners, a rumor. From what we hear the training, at West Point, is intense. Rumor has it they make you take written exams, learn how to march, tactics, and how to run the five minute mile. Rumor ... |
