Hi Joe! (or Grrrrr! you Rebel scoundrel) :) I did a quick test in the BG series and the JT Overland and there is really no restriction on how many men are in a unit or how many men are limited to a hex. It's purely setup in the .pdt file which can be modified to nearly any number. I tested a unit wi... |

Hi Joe, (Gen. Meyer, Sir! <Salute>) I've tested this example in all of the HPS and JT-Overland versions. It doesn't exist with the Talonsoft/Matrix BS series as those maps are a painted .bmp image. With the HPS and JT campaigns the maps are generate from the map files and the conflict exist if a map... |

Gents, Now that I'm able to use the map editor again and have experimented with creating some new maps, I've notice that a conflict still exist with the Map folder terrain files (2DGround50 &2DGround100) vs. the (3DGround50 and 3DGround100). The 2D files contain 28 levels of terrain. The 3D file... |

Hi Kennon, you are right. The graphics from the map come from the files you mentioned (2DGround50.bmp, 2DGround100.bmp, 3DGround50.bmp and 3DGround100.bmp) in the Map folder but the same files also exist in the Map->Alt folder. This was my intention, to have the files change from standard Map folder... |

Guys, just for quick clarification, I already knew that the terrain graphics are set in the scenario design heading for that scenario. I was just hoping that the weather lines in the .pdt would allow for it to change based on the weather condition which comes from the .pdt file. As the scenario edit... |

Thanks guys for the quick feedback. I guess I was more hoping the setting would allow the change from standard to alternate terrain or back and forth based on the weather line in the .pdt file. Like Ken mentioned, it was probably set during the programming and was not used and left with the default ... |

Gents, I've been playing around with the weather settings in the .pdt file (JT-Overland) and was wondering, what does the Flag setting do (last setting before the weather description) ? I was hoping it would change to the alternate terrain graphics during the turn from normal to alternate to give th... |
