I've been thinking lately of a few new game options I would like to see added to future HPS games. I'm talking more about enhancements, features, and options, as opposed to OOBs, the ammo situation etc. If that makes sense. Here are a few and maybe others have other ideas. 1. A Rotating Map. Instead...

Thanks Rich. Yeah, it wouldn't make sense to sell at a loss. I have the Gettysburg map and it is great. Maybe more people will buy it and help with the sales. A double sided map is a really good idea too. Would help you guys with costs and us users wouldn't have to take up as much wall space. Lt. Co...

I was thinking, it sure would be nice to have one of those nice laminated wall maps for HPS Peninsula that Don Adams made for Gettysburg. It would be handy because: a) would only take one map for all the battles. b) would help understand the larger road network around Richmond. c) would help with mo...

Hey Rich, I'll be coming from Alabama. So either up I-95 (the coastal route) or up thru Tennessee and western VA through Lynchburg or Charlottesville. Not sure yet. Thanks Rich for the reply. It sounds like it will be a great time. Thanks for all your efforts in putting this together (as well as anybody else that has helped). Since I'm about 14 hrs away, I'm interested in taking in some of the Civil War sites in the area as well. Do you know if there will be an...

I like the new ideas and suggestions regarding LOS. Seems like in most of my battles my opponent's objectives are to keep as many units out of sight as possible resulting in many non-historic type movements. I also like the idea of being able to scout without being seen or without your opponent know...

The Return of the Confederate Dead -from Gettysburg to Richmond "On November 19, 1863, President Abraham Lincoln dedicated the National Cemetery at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, with those immortal words: "Four sco...

I'd have to agree with Gen Blackburn. Her opera voice just doesn't fit the mood I'm in while conducting my battles. Kinda grates on the nerves... When the men were marching into battle I would think the regimental bands were playing songs that would get the men most stirred up and ready to fight. So...

Sirs, I have the opportunity to procure another HPS game and slip it thru the Yankee blockade. Any suggestions on whether to buy Franklin or Ozark (I own the other three). What are the pros and cons of these two games? Does one of them have better game play, maps, campaign element then the other? An...
