I reckon your men can use the rest....Running is tiring......Well they might not be running yet, but I have the sneaking suspision they want too--atleast that's what wez been hope'n. So let them take the rest and take your time, maybe they will run further when we resume. MG Michael Laabs 3/III A of M |

Always seem to be looking for shoes (BGG), but would take you men to a test in any of the mentioned games. I prefer the multi-day games.

General Frank (Old Banshee) Mullins What do you mean the south secede.....Why us northerners are the one's suffering from southern oppression. Look at when one can qualify the last Northern President (I'm not sure California counts as northern. And I am fairly sure I don't want to claim President Bu... |

Bgg 13a or 13h--if you still have room would be fine with me. I would be even be willing to try to teach, a col. a lesson (or be taught one myself), if he is game.

Born in 1966, so what is that 39? Anyway, agree with Colonel Patrick G.M.Carroll about what the younger crowd is looking for. For myself, having learned with hexes and turns, it would cloud the experience to have it real time or fancy graphic. I prefer the chess match. MG Michael Laabs 3/III A of M |

Checked it out in the old cylopedia/dictionary I got when a library was clearing it out. I enjoy using it, so use it whenever the chance arrives. Here is what I found under the 2nd meaning (with the exception of the (KOR) had a line over the "O", not sure how to do that on my keyboard (as well as a ... |

Tony, Does the point system really encourage one to avoid a manuever? Not in my case. Points seemed only briefly important (In fact I think the point levels should be raised--I would be happy to be reduced to captain--hey how did you get to be a Lt.---don't you know you should salute when encounteri... |

BG Hank Smith, Traffic does look awful, I understand some are running out of gas in the lines---but I believe they now have ordered some of the interstates, to go all one-way--both sides. If you plan to stay I assume you have already prepared for the possibility of lossing power. Fill the tub with w... |

BG Hank Smith, I think traffic will likely clear, more so if they make lanes only going one way (but you are right about not wanting to be caught in your car). I suspect your weeks worth of supplies will be plenty (I suspect they have learned a thing or two from the last storm), but I hope you under... |

Third strongest on record for the Atlantic basin I heard. Also this morning it might have slowed from 175 to 170---Texas/Louisiana would do better if it slows a whole lot more--almost for sure to be very destructive for many.

Opportune time to plan a vacation I would think. I do suspect the government efforts will be better cordinated this time. U of T model of the worst case model, show that Galveston if hit by a high four or fire, would be flooded (but atleast it would subside quickly). Damage would of course extend de... |
