Some of you may be using a copy of my colourised anonymous Colonels bitmap for use in your HPS Civil war games. I have just completed my "ultimate" edition with the images re-worked to what I feel is a much better appearance. It is available for download from the Old Banshee website here: ... |

Gentlemen, I've been eagerly awaiting release of the Banshee teams leader & units package for gettysburg. Now it's here I want to get a 3 versus 3 MP game going using Gen. Ross McDaniels excellent variant of the 3 day battle. His custome scenario really opens up the options for both teams on the... |

Just noticed this thread as I have not been visiting the new style club forum that much since the switch. Cruces' comment about finding "himself" in the records reminded be of a similar experience I had myself. I've done a couple of tours round the Normandy battlefields as part of summer h... |

At last I have got around to creating an alternative to the 3D unit bases used as standard within the HPS ACW titles. I yearned for something a little more aesthetically pleasing and those of you you dislike sharp corners as much as I do may appreciate my version. A full set of 12 bases bitmaps for ... |

At last the Colourised Leaders Bitmap is completed and available for download for HPS Peninsula. Minor corrections have also been made to the Units Bitmap and the OOB files so I strongly recommended that those of you who have already downloaded the Peninsula package go back and download the new file... |

Not all woods are the same ...unfortunately, in a game/simulation they generally are. The only variation we have is between naturally wooded hexes (at 8mp's for Artillery) and Orchards (6mp's for Artillery). Historically, the wooded terrain around Murfreesboro (at least in the locations where the gu... |

Historical, historical, HISTORICAL!!! [:(!] Nothing spoils my enjoyment more than having to resort to game tactics to win at a simulation. But it's impossible to always know where the border between the two lies. Likewise, nothing infuriates me more than witnessing opponents playing the "game" above... |

OK ...the inquest into my showing as Reb on my 3 day Getty battles would fill pages, so I'll try and keep it brief: Kennons just handed me my ass with my heaviest EVER gaming defeat as a club member. I knew that a phase based game as Reb was going to be tough but it was a severe drubbing. The sting ... |

I love 2nd Bull Run, absolutely love it. Was always one of my favourites in the "old" days of BG and still is with the HPS version. That's the first time I've heard of a Reb bringing Jacksons men out of their embankment hexes. Very interesting. Major Edjer's showing seems unfortunate here ...I must ... |
