Gentlemen,

<Salute!>

As we wait on the new formation of our illustrious forces, I have ordered the Divisional Band of Hill's Light Division to play some tunes and they are joined by the Choir of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Richmond:

First up, "The Yellow Rose of Texas":

Next a guest singer, Cletus Jefferson Hollander sings a classic "Rose of Alabamy"! All together fitting with the reorganization.

Here is a song for you to sit at the table..sip on your refreshments and contemplate about your loved ones you left behind.

A personal note....my granddaughter Maddie (10 yrs old // loves history // a rebel) has learned to play this song on the piano and some of the lyrics.... a bond between us :!:
Im bragging,,I am one proud Grandfather

Strange, the sounds exactly like a track from AGEod's Civil War, I wonder if they used the music of that band.
Anyhow very good tracks!

Indeed someone on there forum mentioned it years back that the soundtrack is from the Second South Carolina String Band
http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.p ... #post23117
Always felt the tracks were too short, now listening to the longer version on youtube is great.

And I saw on there webpage they were also in "Gods and Generals"
http://civilwarband.com/media/
Very impressive!
