I have now updated the OOB for our army to reflect the changes we have made. Also updated every officers awards so they are the most recent.

You can view it here: http://www.wargame.ch/wc/acw/sub/aotm/

Hope you like it! If you have any suggestions or comments please post them in this thread!

Regards,

Great looking sites these days. I need to shine up my buttons to appear on them. Well done Chief Engineer!

Thank you very much sir! I have put down a lot of time into making this one and I personally think it's the best site I have ever created! :)

It is a great site Hampus! The outdated front page news is my own fault. We are trying to find a way to make it more interesting and visually appealing and have hit a snag. But I think we are on to some great ideas now. Check back often!

Blake,
good work on the Army web-page; I especially like our motto: it happens to be my fraternity motto! (Sigma Nu)

Hampus came up with the motto. Being Swedish he wanted some long Swedish saying at first. I am not sure but I know it had more letters than I have ever seen in my life smooshed into three words. Instead we went with Latin.

Yes you Swedes do. the longest Swede word is about 3x the length of the longest English word.

The longest word in the Swedish language is according to Guinness World Records Nordöstersjökustartilleriflygspaningssimulatoranläggningsmaterielunderhållsuppföljningssystemdiskussionsinläggsförberedelsearbeten (130 letters). It means something like "Coast artillery flight searching simulator area material maintaining follow-up system discussion post preparation tasks of the Northern Baltic Sea".

I said it once and I will say it again - I really need to visit Sweden.

I see Hampus updated the site again! Good job! Now all we need on the website is a way to play Poker.

Blake,
That's a pretty long word there, did it all fit on the clip-board when you copied and pasted?

Here's a link to a site about longest place-names...I knew about the first one in Wales, but the other two were surprises.

http://www.facstaff.bucknell.edu/rbeard/name.html

Apparently this was written by someone from Bucknell Univeristy, a hated rival of my own alma mater...we beat them all the time in lacrosse...
