Post subject: New Army Chief of Staff
PostPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 6:48 pm
Gentlemen of the Army of the Mississippi,

Brig. Gen. Mark Davis has served faithfully as our CoS for past 7 months and has earned himself a little R&R. He has been issued a three-day pass to go to Vicksburg where I am sure he plans to do his part to increase the population of our fine state of Mississippi! My thanks to Brig. Gen. Davis for his very fine service and loyalty while in his post as the Army CoS.

Lieutenant General Tim Miller has been appointed the new Army CoS effective immediately. Gen. Miller is a fine officer in our Army and a former Corps Commander under Gen. Gene Nix. I am sure he will do a great job as the new Chief of Staff and I know you all join me in wishing him the very best.

Thank you for your hard work Gen Davis - I'm not sure how you survived there for so long  It must have been a very difficult assignment.

Gen Miller - I wish you all the very best in your challenging new assignment. This could be more difficult that kicking Yank butt!

Well done General Davis for doing your bit for your army and our club - I shall let you have some R&R and then it is back to the WT HQ for some more planning of secret stuff

Miller has lasted a month so far! Well done, sir! Keeping up with me for a month should earn you a weekend pass in New Orleans... instead... I have some more paperwork over here for you.

Don't wait up for me tonight, sir, I will be dining out with the Ladies Benevolence Society once again. :D

And I expect those papers done when I wake up tomorrow around lunch time.

I believe the lilac beads will do nicely today. Ah, good, breakfast is served! Wooden choppers... ha! Funny....

70-years-old?! No, not mine. I am lucky if they are 19! I can only assume Cameron has been using my name again for his drunken conquests. :D
