I have engaged the Yankee invaders east of Richmond in the area around Seven Pines. Advancing against their positions in the Oak Grove area with one brigade I have run into abatis. I am currently attacking with 2 brigades with 3 in reserve and 1 coming up. I am bringing up some artillery also. This is a demonstration hoping to have him think I have Casey's Redoubt as my main objective.

Still trying to organize my troops who were so spread out it will probably take me another hour or so to get my eastern defensives in order.

My main thrust is to go south and cross through White Oak Swamp at Jordan's Ford in the hope of catching his left flank in the air. I am proceeding with 7 brigades, artillery and supply train. I should be in a position to move north in around two hours
