Gentlemen <Salute>;

With the coming of the new month and a new Commander of the Armies, let us all make the pledge to go the extra mile to improve the standing of our great army. Alabamians have always stepped forward when the need arose; your help is requested once again. Fight hard and punish the invaders of our home land, support your comrades in arms, engage in all types of combat and enjoy your club. Keep in contact with all members of the Confederacy. The club is what you make it; make it great!!

General Hovey <salute>

Suh, my compliments to you and your fine command!

The Army of Alabama will without doubt continue to make a fine accounting of itself against those people, as they have always done. Fight often, fight hard, and stop by to recount the victories sure to come.

Highest regards,

Terry,
Keep up the pressure! The blue tide will be pushed back to the trash laden cities of the north because of the work of officers such as yourself.

General Croce is an effective fighter. My backside has also been tanned by his tactics. Should he and I meet again on some field, extreme caution and conservatism will be the Orders of the Day.

When I joined the club I was assigned to the AoG, but when I became the WTC I decided to take a brigade command in the AoA as well. When I left the CoA job I could have gone to any army but I stuck with the AoA because in my view it is a damn fine army. If you look at the officers in the Army and their battle records they are second to none as far as participation. They have always been a bit individualistic, ornery and not that keen on mustering, but hell that is just like Rebel officers were back in the ACW. I even wear Alabama tee-shirts to work and I am a Kiwi - is it possible to get honorary citizenship of a US state?

Tis a shame you were not notified of your full citizenship. Next time you are on this hallowed ground, be certain to cast your vote for one of the long list of leaders. Like us Rebs, some of them can read.
