Gentlemen,

There is a rumor afoot in the West that the ANV achieved a muster rate of 96% in March! We in the West can only assume that this rumor is wholly false and exaggerated as there could never be enough booze in Virginia to entice so many officers to a singular place at any given time.

If this is a fact though do please take a group photo as we out West often feel like we have been doing all the real fighting in this War. It will be a pleasant surprise and a boost for Western morale to learn, and see, that Eastern officers do actually exist.

The ANV only had two absentees and enjoyed a 96% Muster of Available Strength.

Are those your officers!? I have seen more lively men after being embalmed. And I swear the man on the left is wanted in Alabama for a Bank Robbery.

The man in the center is 75 if he's a day!

Ah well, I guess its best the real men are sent Westward anyways

I would have to agree General Strickler - they all look like they have been beaten senseless with an ugly stick
