Captain Matthews,
Suh,
Wins & Losses are not everything but certainly indicative of the level of activity of your potential opponents. I am always highly suspicious when someone is undefeated or nearly so. To think someone has played a multitude of games and has never lost... due to a particularly difficult scenario or a bad turn of luck... that's a difficult thing for me to wrap my mind around.
Of course, I'll be the first to admit I'm not the best of players. I am not fond of the HPS gaming system. I feel it is highly flawed. I was much better at the old BG games and prefer that game engine. Of course, we always say that about the game engines that we are most successful in.
I've encountered some great Union players over the years... General Doug Burke, Lt Gen Mike Dean, Lt Gen David Groce, Brig. Gen Kevin Koch, General Frank Mullins, Lt Col Chris Perleberg, General Ned Simms, Lt General Pat Thompson, Col Sean Turner. Each has a particular skill set, character and style of play. I would recommend anyone of them to you for play but some of them are very very good so it's an invitation to defeat... but you'll make a good friend in the process. If you're looking to test your skills but still want a chance to win... start with Perleberg, Koch, Groce & Turner... when you get cocky... move up to Mullins, Simms... and leave Dean, Burke & Thompson for last.
Of course, they'd say... if you want an easy win... start with Hulinsky...
Hope this helps but these are all high qualify opponents you'll love to play. <salute>
