When does the error occur? When starting the game?

David

Yes, when initialy loading the game I get the "error reading main map file" msg. I will try downloading and re-installing again and let you know the result.

I downloaded the extras files again and installed, and still no go - same error msg when I try to start the scn.

I have been playing all kinds of other BGB scns such as NMK, Win I, II, and III, as well as the full Sherman set (OK, RfR has problems, but that's OOB) so it's not me BGB install I think.

Has anyone else successfully loaded it??

Hi!
I downloaded the game form ACWCO and I tested it...
It seems to work properly... I don't know which could be your problem... I apologize for the following "stupid" question, but did you install the correct update patch and the 32bit program?

Cheers,
Luciano

OK, got it

Confusion over exactly which file is the "Copy Units.bitmap file into BGBR main directory", so I had put the KT1Others.zip (606 Kb) in the wrong directory. Sorry, but without the specific file names it can be a little confusing.

Haven't tried to play it yet, but it loads fine - thanks guys, sorry for the hassle.

What is the official game cod for registering a Kernstown match?

BGB/***01h/15 ??

Note that the scn files themselves give both the Hist and the Balanced version as # 01, where as the Cart Office page http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/kernstown1.asp identifies them as 01 and 02 respectively

It would be wonderous if the Cart Office pages included this information as standard with each scn. [:D]

Thanks
Mike

Mike,

All games should be: <font color="beige">Game/Scenario Name/Scenario #/# of turns</font id="beige">

So, <b>BGBR/Kernstown I/1/22</b> would be what I expect. But I have to load it to give you exact names. I am at work, so I cannot get at it.

See http://www.acwgc.org/acwgc_members/paw/wakeman.html for examples.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
