Gents, owing to the excellent salesmanship of JTS, I find myself engaged in 1776 and Mexican American War scenarios with my regular Yank opponent from ACWGC. We noticed that quite a few of you fellows are veterans of the CCC. (No, not the civilian conservation corps, although some of us might almost be old enough, heh-heh). Anyway, we have a question: Do CCC players observe any particular practice about infantry assaults in column? Do you go by the Nappy ways (do it all you want) or ACW (only in towns and across bridges)?
Many thanks for your kind replies.

Generally, move up in column and change to line before engaging, either fire or melee. There is no fire in column.
