LTC Lajoie,

The Union has scored a MAJOR Victory at Glendale!! A brilliant counter-offensive by MG Schlitte resulted in the Reb forces trying desperatly to piecemeal forces into the fray. With the loss of most of its Leadership (except Lee heheh he tried hard to get him) the reb forces broke. With most of the army in rout and almost 4:1 losses I surrendered my sword.

Very well played Scott! I get this "Damn Yankee" yet.!!

The skirmish at Apache Canyon (March 26, 1862) between Col. R.White and Maj.D.McDonald has ended in a DRAW. Major McDonald started out by capturing the 25pt objective at 44,7 and then advanced through the woods towards the 50pt objective at 34,27 where Colonel White had established his main line of defence. The Union boys started to press home the attack, but ran out of time before they could secure the objective. At the last moment, the Rebel Texas Scouts - who'd lost half their strength in the initial encounter - emerged from the woods and reoccupied the undefended 25pt objective. Overall losses were even at 40 men a side.

The 12 turn Battle of Iuka between BG Ted Huffman and LG Bob Breen has ended in a Draw. The game was very much of a linear fight in the woods with the Union taking a couple of the forward victory hexes and some rebel guns, but the overall casualties were a virtual tie in terms of points. The union losses were 26% of the forces present, atlhough one Brigade only made it to the battle line as night fell. Rebel losses were 19% of those present, but a Rebel Division and Cav Brigade never released. A good scenario for a short, intense conflict.

Southrens rejoice! Northern Virginia is again in Confederate hands as Jackson drove the invaders from the town of Winchester in a total route. Ewell's division attacked the Union's left, while Jackson lead the attack on the enemey's right. The Union were not aided by their inferior numbers and those that fought quickly up and ran upon fire. With victories such as these it is only a matter of time before the South puts an end to the Northern aggression.

Perryville, Kentucky.

Turn 17 (11h40): The Confederate forces, under the command of Gen. Braxton Braggs, are positionned on the hills facing west in front of Perryville. The Union army is now deployed and our right flank is already under pressure. The center of the position at Bottom's Hill have been attacked lightly earlier this morning but nothing serious.

There is enemy movement in the south-west and our left flank may be attacked in the afternoon. The moral of the Confederate Army is high and we will hold our positions.

The South will prevail and win that war.
