Or is it too early for many people to have received their copy in the mail yet? Inquiring (and impatient) minds want to know. [:D]

Hi, General Lynn,

I got my copy and have looked at it but not played it yet. They don't
have the artillery optional rule yet. Not as many scenarios as Shiloh but they have several Chickasaw Bluff scenarios, a couple of Champion Hill scenarios, Big Black River, Jackson, Port Gibson, Raymond, Milliken's Bend and some what-ifs. I think except for Milliken's Bend, all the battles are related to Grant's drives to capture Vicksburg. No Helena, no Port Hudson. Most maps are pretty big. Of course, they also have Grant's assaults on the Vicksburg fortifications. The campaign essentially involves two choices each, and I think the Yanks have to win at least a minor victory in each. Once they get the Rebs pinned in Vicksburg, the Rebs have to attempt a breakout in one of two places. That's about all I've seen so far. Did look at Milliken's Bend. Doesn't look to promising for the Rebs. They have to attack with one brigade against a slightly larger force with slightly lower morale but defending fortifications and supported by gunboats. Hope this helps.

Casualties seem heavier.
