We had a great time in Gettysburg and all I can say is that we will have a great time here......where ever? Where are we eating Thursday night?

But look on the Bright Side lads!
Perhaps Richmond will bless us with a

Gentlemen:
At the last Tiller Con, some of us made the tour of those fields of honor. Standing on Mayre's Heights is worth the price of admission. Also, following the route of Jackson's flanking march is a real trip. Enjoy yourselves!!!

Time is fast approaching the first weekend in March! With my luck all of the balmy weather the East Coast has been enjoying this winter will go away and we will be buried in snow! That being said our band of travelers include; from Annapolis, Maryland Larry 'Notso' Quick and his side kick Gen Moose, Russ Daley from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, Tom Phillips from Richmond, Virginia and me from Mukilteo, Washington (the Evergreen State). All are invited to join us if you are in the area or want to make the trip down for a visit.

We will be starting out on Thursday morning for the Peninsula (actually the Seven Days Battlefields) and taking in what we can still view today. Lots of stuff to see in the Richmond - Mechanicsville area (probably too much for one day!).

Friday morning will see us relocate to the Fredericksburg area for all of the wonderful sites to see in that location. We will spend Saturday in the area too!

Respectfully,

At TillerConI, I had the pleasure of touring Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, and points in between and nearby. The National Park Service has done a great job, and I would recommend the CDs for the driving tour. There are lots of opportunities to walk at many of the points of significance. Enjoy yourselves!!

Well Shucks! [:I] Oh Ok,I will romantic-size her but ya all gotta get her to shave, put her teeth in, cover up that "I love Bucky" tattoo on her chest and put on a dress. Oh yeah! And take up a collection because I ain't payin' for dinner.[:p]

Ok … I got your strategy. You are going to tell Miss Lulu that Lt. Ciampa is in love with her. Excellent plan boy as that will send her in the opposite direction. .

Sounds like a lot of fun Notso. I wish I could make that March trip but it doesn't look good for me to attend. I am sure that it will be a great time and interesting, and Colonel Daley is a man after my own heart. Good to pin down those dinner plans early.[:D]

However, I am very interested, as I mentioned to you yesterday, in the Antietam visit as it is also near Gettysburg which I have visited only once and didn't have nearly enough time to do it justice. Nice of you fellas to arrange such outtings.
