Gentlemen of the club,

I'm conducting a survey to find out what type of gaming is mostly played here. It's a very simple survey question. Are most of your games single player games (1 v 1) or MP games (2 v 2 or more)? Please let me know percentage wise. Trying to find out what the most prevalent type of gaming is in the club.

For myself 38% are single games vs 62% MP games.

thanks and regards,

Since I joined in 1999, 95% single and 5% MP, but the proportion of MP games is quite likely to grow, especially as I am enjoying the current Peninsula MP game against your team of rebs so much, with its communication and orders rules. Over in the Napoleonic Wargame Club about 20% of my games are MP.

Currently 100% single games. Have played MP games in the past and probably will in the future but for now it's all single games.

95% Single games 5% Multiplayer games, I am including unfinished games in this.

I also expect the percentage of Multiplayer games to grow as I have started to regularly play them in the Hill Challenge. In fact they are the only MP games I have played.

Since '98 I'd have to say it's been 80% Single, 20% MP. Now its 100% single, at least for the time being.

I can remember playing only one multi-player game. The rest are all single player games.

90% single, 10% MP - if even that high. Might be heavier to the single side.

But that's mostly because I think the single turn style best suited to MP games is so thoroughly screwed up and unhistoric that I want nothing to do with it. [:D]

About 99% single and 1% MP. My experiences with MP have not been pleasant. I think it would be good if you could find reliable partners of roughly similar abilities, and then opponents who met the same criteria. But even my single games are against the same opponents most of the time.

99% single battles, 1% MP. My one MP game had a good bunch of guys for both sides and was interesting but I find MP to be way too slow for my liking.

Gentlemen,

I have 9 games going right now.
1 Trainging (just ended)
4 Multi-player (one with each Division and Hill Challenge)
4 single Player

44.44% Multi-player

I like the Multi-player as I find it builds great team work in your Corps, you actually get to know more men form your own side. The pace is usually slow enough that it does not add much of an additional time burden.
