Lt General Ian Miller has stepped down as Corps Commander of the IX Corps after over 4 years of valued service to the Army of Ohio and the Union Army.

Maj General Randy Hartwig, formerly the 1st Division Commander, has been appointed to the IX Corps Commanders position, effective July 1, 2007.

Please join me in thanking Gen Miller for his long and valued service and his continued contribution to the war effort.

Also, please join me in welcoming General Hartwig to the Corps Commanders position.
