American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

Gents:

I have just recently joined our brothers over in the CCC and is having a Great time. However, I am trying to get use to the American's routing and running...It reminds me of the Yanks. Any way the reason why I am writing this is that I had put my name into the hat to be Aide de Camp to Colonel Steve Davenport in the War of 1812 section of this club.

What we need is more members? If you have the 1776, War of 1812 and/or the French/Indian War games, we need you to join this club as well. This is the web link: http://www.wargame.ch/1776/index.html

Now, what I need is for you to join the War of 1812 section to help us fill it up. There is a need for four officers right now. We need you to take one of the four slots: the 1st, 4th, 11th or 14th US Army.

How about it guys? Any of you interested in sharing some of your extra time in the CCC.

Gentlemen,

I, too, am a member of the CCC, though I try to hold to one game at a time over there. Both clubs encourage role-playing over game-playing.

It's interesting to see leadership in one club at the bottom of the hierarchy of the other. In a CCC tournament that started last year (when I was CSA CoA here), participants were matched with opponents according to rank. I was in the 'beginner' group -- along with Jeff Laub and Chris Cross (then CSA Chief of Staff)! [:)]
