Can any of you fine gentlemen tell me if that after a major defeat in a campaign game, do the units loose their strenght for the next campaign game due to the amount of loses...I can remember in some scenarios that some units were well below strenght....Was this the cause of the defeat or that was the strenght given to that unit in the start of that scenario.....

Hi,

I think units recover 10% of losses in the next scenario of a campaign. If they were eliminated, they get back 20%. A section of two guns, if it is eliminated, will come back as one gun. I can't recall where the documentation is that explains it though.

Actually, the rate of increase will depend on the interval. The longer the interval, the greater the %increase. This information is not in the documention. I'm not sure why, but this was a later enhancement.

Interesting... makes sense.

Don't suppose you could supply us with a table?

I guess in Peninsula it's not too much with battles being the next day. Is it at least 10%? Does it differ North/South?

Thanks Rich
