Gentlemen,

Is it correct for a gunboat to be limbered in the Chickasaw Bayou scenario of Campaign Vicksberg? If so, is there a way to change formations?

I think it's a bug ... or rather a design flaw.

I opened the scenario with the editor and tried to change the gunboats formation there but that didn't work either. So I removed it from the map, put it back in the hex and it was no longer in column formation so I saved the scenario. When I opened it with the game engine everything was ok.

I found myself trying to see what the problem was....Why limbered naval units is a completely historical situation.....Why the Confederate Navy got coaught in limbered formation on most occasions.....Had they been unlimbered more often, the entire war would have likely followed a different course....Additionally had the South had access to the number of Seahorses to pull their warships that the North had, I am absolutely sure the Confederate Navy would have had much greater success!
