Commandants Cup Challenge Tournament II "At All Hazards"

Gentlemen of the Blue and the Gray,

The second annual battle between the Union Military Academy and the Vicksburg Military Institute has begun. Participants include the Instructors and Staff of the Academies as well as the Staffs of the War Colleges.

This years tournament is especially exciting as the Union fights to gain the first place trophy won last year by the South. We have 11 different "pairings" with a total of 20 players. Each participant will receive a handsome Commandants Cup Challenge Tournament II Medal and Ribbon.

My thanks to Commandant Matt Perrenod and all those who have made the tournament possible. The games will end on Nov. 1st.

The Gold Medal is awarded to the Winner of each battle and the Silver to the runner up.
