I am currently reading through volume I of Shelby Foote's Civil war narrative. I was thinking that the situation described of Lee's plan to attack Pope's Army of Virginia on the 17 - 20th August 1862 in it's position in the corner of the Rapidan & Rappahannock rivers would make for a good scenario.

The antietam disk as released does not offer this situation as a what if scenario and as far as I can tell, the relevant map is not provided. In fact, a "perfect" map does not exist (I think?) but the Rappahannock map on the Gettysburg disk is fairly suitable, just missing a section of ground to the south-east that might have been required ideally.

Is there any posibility that a "patch" might be made to render this map from Gettysburg useable on the Antietam scenario editor? As far as I can see, this combination of map & oob would only have limited application to this particular hypothetical engagement...and would not compromise any possible future ACW releases...or would it?

If you have Corinth, the map could easily be converted to Corinth....It has to be version 1.01 to be able to do it however.....You can also use custom OOBs in Corinth 1.01....
