General Hulinsky dropped by my HQ today and he mentioned in passing that he had access to the Winchester Arms, he said that there was plenty to drink,[:)] but no ladies[:(]. I have knocked on the door a number of times, but I have been turned away, with hurtful remarks, like “You Rebs are too handsomeâ€

Oh no Sir... I think you misunderstood me! You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT in your comments about us Rebs being too handsome, too clean, too gentlemenly... and far too humble for our own good! [;)]

But that's not the reason we haven't been able to gain entrance to their saloon. It's the heaps of bodies that the Army of the Mississippi keeps heaping up in front of the door month after month. We've gotten tired of burying all those gallant AoS men, so now we load them into captured Yankee ambulances and drop them off in front of the Winchester Arms so that the Yankee Burial Details can give them a funeral... with the full military honors that they so richly deserve.

You see... here's the problem:

I don't care what Union Army you are in... it's nearly impossible to handle this many casualties. Maybe we should contact General Corbin and arrange a "cease fire" until they get caught back up?

As usual, the Rebs have demonstrated their penchance for hyperbole. The comments made to Rebs attempting access were "You Rebs are too pretty" and "You Rebs smell....". Also, their intelligence is rather lacking as regards to their estimates of our losses - by at least 3 decimal points to the left. Our fear is really fear of whomping too hard on them.[:D] I do think General Hulinsky does wonderful graphs demonstrating statistics can be manipulated to show anything.[;)]

I say General Hulinsky your casualty figures for the AoS are a bit light - there are another 123,455 deaths due to shock (at how just how damned good the AotM is), 38 who fell off their horse and 45,612 who got run over in the stampede to the rear. Then there are those who were captured - drunk mostly, trying and failing to beat us at the bar.[:p] By my calcualtions of the new numbers only Drex and Rusty are left, and if we could get into the Winchester Arms then we could get them too[:D]
