Steve Barrett and I are at 9 turns each and we got the rest of the day. Ernie, Massachusetts only allows one turn a day. We'll see if we can set a record.

I believe the most I ever managed was 3 in one day with the same opponent. I have played as many as 8 turns with different opponents when they all sent turns on the same day and I happened to be off that day.

Of course if you ask the wife she'll say I'm always off, I just don't have to go to work some days. [;)]

I have managed to do 9 in a day - it was not a big battle and we were both at our PC's doing other stuff, so we just played the turns in between work - only stopped due to the time difference and he had to get some sleep[8D]

18 turns in about 3 hours.
It was a direct play game with Lars Wistedt, we had the timer set to 5 min. turns per side, what ever you didn't get moved or fired in time didn't get done.
We did 3 different scenarios back in 2006 a 6, 13 and the 18 turn game on three different occasions. If I recall correctly we had about a 9 or 10 hour time difference...so I was online about 7AM.
If you have a block of time direct play is a really neat way to play these games that is hardly ever utilized, you watch the "replay" as your opponent moves and fires and with the turn timer set it makes for a fast on your feet game.
